In fact, even the so-called expert self-tanners usually end up with irregular patches, with their elbows, knees and feet being the tell-tale areas, and they even miss some bits. Since it is impossible to apply self-tanning lotion to your back, you will need to enlist the help of a friend.
Although professional application offers a far better outcome, you will have to schedule time to allow you to keep topped up; and how about the indignity of standing stark-naked, as your whole body is sprayed? Besides, the results are not guaranteed to be perfect.
With tanning tablets, there are no white patches, and there is no mess. All you need is to take 1-2 tanning pills each day. Tanning tablets offer the contemporary way to enjoy a genuine long-term bronze without risking skin damage – plus turning the colour of your bed sheets to orange.
The main downside to most of the tanning tablets available is the presence of beta-carotene or canthaxanthin, said to be harmful.
Fortunately, some tanning tablets such as Spa Tanning Tablets do not contain such harmful ingredients. They are safe and effective in achieving an authentic tan with zero harmful side effects.
